Salary:        £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Contract:    Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

About the Role

Lincoln City Foundation is looking for an ambitious and passionate Youth Manager to lead and grow our youth provision. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take full strategic and operational ownership of programmes that make a real difference to young people in our community.

You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality initiatives such as after-school clubs, holiday activities, Premier League Kicks, and more—ensuring they are impactful, inclusive, and sustainable.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking a leader who is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and driving positive change. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in managing youth or community programmes at scale, with a track record of delivering high-quality, impactful initiatives.

  • Strong operational leadership skills, able to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining standards and meeting deadlines.

  • People management expertise, including recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to achieve outstanding results.

  • Strategic thinking and growth mindset, with the ability to identify new opportunities, secure funding, and expand delivery reach.

  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding and compliance, ensuring all activities are safe, inclusive, and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Relationship-building skills, capable of developing partnerships with schools, local authorities, funders, and community organisations.

  • Flexibility and resilience, willing to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays when required.

 

Desirable qualities include experience within a football club foundation or sports-based charity, knowledge of programmes such as Premier League Kicks or HAF, and a relevant qualification in youth work, sport, or community development.
